Gimpo Peaceful Culture Center

The Gimpo Peaceful Culture Center lets people of all ages enjoy and experience peaceful culture with its abundance of resources and the vision of a reunified future.
The structure is made out of shipping containers to symbolize Gimpo City's proximity to the Han River Estuary and to send a message of peace to the North.
On the first and second levels, it has a permanent exhibition room, a special exhibition room, and a video room where you can watch a variety of materials on peaceful culture such as AR films, games, and literary works.

Special exhibitions under the themes of peaceful culture, peace, unification, and North and South Korea are displayed.

Jogang River Lower Village - Gimpo, the center of Peace
An interactive AR video that gives an overview of the Deokpojin, Munsusangseong Fortress, Jongang River, Aegibong, and the Peace Road.

Despite being far away, you can feel closer to North Korea and unification through peace literature.

A space that reflects the culture, history, and daily life in North Korea.

Video Room

The historical site in North Korea that people want to visit most after reunification, is the Goguryeo Tomb! Through the video "The Great Tomb of Gangseo", learn more about the history and culture of Goguryeo over 1,400 years ago.

Docent Program

Every Tuesday-Saturday, 3 times a day (11:00am/2:00pm/4:00pm), For general admission and groups of 10 or more (reservations must be made in advance)

Outdoor Deck

(Floating hope along the Jogang River) While enjoying some time outdoors, use the public phone booth to write a message you wish to send to North Korea through the Jo River.

Nursing Room

The nursing room is equipped with a diaper-changing table, microwave, and sofa, among others.
