Gimpo Art Village
Nestled at the foot of Modamsan Mountain in Unyang-dong in Gimpo City, Gimpo Art Village is a nature-friendly culture and art space including 17 hanoks, 5 studios for creation, art center, outside performance site and traditional performance space where people can experience the natural wonder of Modamsan Mountain.
It is a welcoming place where citizens can always engage with culture and art in their everyday lives and where the calm traditional beauty of Hanok Village coexists with the contemporary beauty of the art center. A variety of contents will be presented to leave a lasting impression so that visitors from other areas would remember and come visit again.
Hanok Village
The Hanok Village is a cultural complex that offers a variety of facilities everyone can enjoy such as a creative studio, traditional performance space, culture study room, literature street and the hanok where you can experience the tranquil tradition.
Art Center
The Art Center is where various cultural and arts activities and events are held. It consists of a multi-purpose hall (non-fixed 200 seats), a group practice room (1 room), small practice rooms (2 rooms), and exhibition rooms (3 halls).
Exhibition Room
Located on the second floor of the Art Center, the exhibition room is subdivided into three areas with a height of 6 meters and a total area of 417 square meters. Being equipped with ample space and cutting-edge facilities, we are able to provide a pleasant venue for exhibitions of all genres, from traditional to modern.
